This is an authentic US military style dog tag set produced using stainless steel dog tags and chains and using rubber silencers.
The price includes embossing the tags with your own customised message.
You can have different messages embossed onto the tags or the same message on both.
The embossing is left justified and there are 5 lines of text available on each tag.
There is a limit to how many characters will fit on to each line.
Lines 1 and 5 have space for 13 characters and lines 2,3 and 5 have space for 14 characters. A letter, number, punctuation mark or space counts as one character.
The following characters can be used:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
0123456789
; ' , . / -
When you check out the embossing details can be supplied as a 'gift message' Please state clearly what you would like embossed on the tags eg: tag 1, line 1, line 2 etc.
Please ensure that your message only contains the characters that can be embossed and will fit on the tags as it may delay your tags if we have to contact you to ask for an ammendment.

I purchased these from another site, google dog tags uk, they are exactly the same but with free postage, fast delivery, the quality is well good, embossing is easy readable

Good product, sent quickly - very helpful customer service.
Small niggle - the lettering could have been stamped a little more squarely as it was a tiny bit indistinct in places but on the whole my son was very pleased. SO four stars - but nearly five lol.

They didn't really read the information I've sent them.
I said Line 2, Line 3 and Line 4 (with 1 and 5 blank) but they've probably missed that because I got the text on line 1, 2 and 3. Which is still ok but it would have looked better on 2,3,4.
For those that didn't know how to submit their text ... at the checkout (just before the final checkout button) select the Gift Options part, send it as a gift, and put your text as the gift text.
The product is of decent quality, the text is easily readable, they give you the chain too and a secondary smaller chain for the second dog tag.
When I want some more I'd probably order these again.

Arriving a few days after I ordered, these dogtags are pretty close to the ones seen worn by actual members of the army. The text on the dogtags are clear, though the tags were scratched slightly when I recieved them. At a cheap price like these, they are great value for money.
After seeing some confusion as to how you go about inscribing these tags, you buy them and at the confirmation screen, select to have this as a gift. You will be given the gift message box and you type what you want inside the box like:
Tag1
Line1:
Line2:
etc
This can be done for both tags to a max of five (5) lines if I remember correctly.
Overall, a good purchase for your needs.
