I read the reviews of this product, which were very mixed, and I thought i'll give it a go. Following the instructions, but 4 weeks later....... nothing and they are going in the bin.

I know some people have commented that these didn't germinate at all, and as I have the least green fingers in the world, I wasn't expecting much. But, actually, four out of five of the seed pots sprouted and are growing well! I've yet to get any actual chillis, but I guess it's early days, and I'm just pleased that they've grown at all! It's definitely a nice kit if you're not too bothered by the outcome and just want to have a go at growing something, like me... :-)

I bought these as a gift for my partner at Christmas. We have tried several attempts over the last few months to grow these to no avail (they have been on a warm window sill). I have been told that chillis are usually easy to grow - I can only assume that the seeds were out of date.

Got this at Christmas planted them in Febuary and they have grown well for me. The kit includes everything you need and it all seemed easy to grow. Not really sure why other people have not had sucess as I have never grown anything before and it worked first time.

Brilliant product, arrived in good time with everything I needed, full instructions and tips for chilli plants. The seeds took a while to come through and I would recommend that you give them a good soaking with water every day (so that they sit in a few cm's of water) once I watered them more heavily the seeds came through. All the plants have come through and are growing slowly so be patient! A great novel gift idea for any chilli lovers out there!
