Eliza doolittle September 5, 2010 Mrs. R. L. Palmer Excellent catchy album, well worth the money! Even my children sing and dance along. There were lots of songs on there i knew and didnt realise she sang them.
Great cd! September 5, 2010 K Spurr (UK) A really good mix of tuneful, uplifting songs. When I bought it, I only recognised a couple of sone names but now I love them all! A fab debut album.
Excellent September 5, 2010 Mrs. M. E. Thomson (Orkney Islands) Love this album, it gets played over and over and my daughter loves it too! Very catchy and so cheery it makes you smile!
Doolittle does a lot August 31, 2010 cymruangel Eliza Doolittle is knowing ingenue.
I really enjoyed this album, many tracks made me want to get up and dance, particularly "Pack Up", "Go Home" and "Mr Medicine". I first listened to it on a train platform in Cardiff, and I think some of my fellow passengers thought I was a little mad, but my feet just HAD to move.
Whilst having a mainly light poppy feel, this album is lyrically very clever, and the musical references are also very witty. I also very much enjoyed "Empty Hand", the sting in the tail.
Kate Nash and Lily Allen-esque but with a much more pleasant singing voice.
Love it! August 30, 2010 Wonder Woman (UK) I instantly fell in love with her music when I heard 'pack up' for the first time. Every track in this album won't disappoint you. I also like the fact that she doesn't sing in American accent which many other artists do. As in other reviews, her music makes me happy. This is definitely a 'feel good' album not to miss!!
