recommended by my dentist May 22, 2008 Ian Henry (woodthorpe england) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This brush make you feel that you have spent hours and s with the cruel dental hygienist every day. It feels a bit odd to start with (for a few days) but after a while you won't want to be without it. I recommend it to all my patients with dental problems. For us over 40s "long in the tooth" there is bound to be some gum recession, usually with some sensitivity where the tooth meets gum, use sensodyne or similar with this brush, it actually works.
Poor battery life May 22, 2008 A. Emerton (Coventry, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought one of these less than 6 weeks ago to replace an older model. It has worked well and is lighter and more flexible than my old one, HOWEVER the battery life is very questionable - a full charge used to last me a full week, and it is now down to 4 days between charges. I very much doubt this will last more than a year before it needs replacing.
Not as good as the previous model April 14, 2008 McColl (United Kingdom) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We initially had the 4000 series model, and were all very impressed with it. When it finally gave up after years of good performance, we got the 7000 series Elite. After a while, it became apparent that this model did not clean teeth as well as the earlier model. They felt clean enough, but the poor results were visible. We now have the new 9000 series, and not only does it have a neat toothbrush head, it cleans as well as the first model did, and only took a week to show positive results.
10/10 it is the ultimate I have used. March 27, 2008 N. Robinson (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to use one of the sonicare 4000 range until it broke after 4 years! This seams much improved. Its light - feels easy to hold - the timer helps a lot, It both looks and feels good. My dentist / hygienist and myself have noticed a difference. Some have complained at a two year life span, well its guaranteed for two years so if it last that long its 25 per year BARGIAN ! Don't think twice its 50 well spent.
Shocking Product February 19, 2008 Neil A. Terry 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Have used it for 2 months, it makes your teeth feel clean after brushing, but when you look in the mirror my teeth have never looked so bad before! Also it doesnt even touch inbetween teeth so have to floss aswell which i never had to do with a normal brush. I have now gone back to using a normal toothbrush and using the electric briefly just to make them feel clean. Would advise to stick with normal toothbrush, save 50 and get cleaner teeth
