practical, but more like a grey-out curtain July 30, 2010 Jools We ended up buying a second one of these after getting the first for the baby's room. It is easy to put up and take down every day, which is quite practical, though there are little pinholes in the material that mean it is not truly black-out. Still, the room is significantly darker and we were ecstatic that our daughter slept an hour longer the first time we used it. Unless you want to invest a lot of money in proper blinds, or feel like getting creative with velcro and some black-out material, this is the best solution available.
Suckers July 30, 2010 Matt The suckers are very strong so take care when pulling them off the window. Two of our suckers have already come off and cannot be put back on.
Disappointed with gro anywhere blind July 29, 2010 E. I (scotland) This is a great idea but unfortunately the suckers are poor. Tried to get spare ones but company wont supply them. once blind is in place light still comes in at all sides but does stop 95% of the light. I have resorted to using the air vent shutter at the top of the window to trap the top edge to try and prevent more light getting in. If the company had allowed more material as an overlap this might have helped. OK as a travel blind but as a permanent light blocker its a hassle putting up and taking down every night. Nevermind. :-(
Cool product and it works! July 23, 2010 Juliana De Carvalho (Italy) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Loved it. It's well made, the fabric is good, the stars on the outside are cute, the inside part is the black out fabric. The adjustment system works perfectly and it stays on all night!!! Great for trips and holidays. Also it's very big, it could cover my balcony window in my living room!
Does what it says July 20, 2010 shelly1974 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After booking a holiday with our 3 month old son we set about making a list of things we needed to take. Blackout blinds would be essential if we wanted to get any sleep before midnight! The Gro Anywhere blackout blind comes in a handy portable case and can be attached via suckers or attached to the curtain. The suction is good and the blind big enough to fit any window. Only downside was that being one big curtain it was a mission if you wanted to open the window. Have recommended to friends
