5 out of 5 stars a bit of everything .. including michael!   December 10, 2008
Emilie-Liza and Diane (Neverland Ranch :))
This has everything you could ever want in a DVD ... Acting, dancing, music...And Michael Jackson! Not only playing the part of himself/The "Maestro" but the mayor, who calls him a freak and wants him out of town. This was made by Michael and Stephen King and reflected on the way michael jackson felt in the public eye after the 1993 allegations even after Michael was proven innocent the negative press continued, but this video is immensely positive toward Michael and an EYE-OPENER to just how it might feel being called weird all the time.
As well as that there is of course, the wonderful dancing that has yet to be seen to be believed. I'm not joking, the moonwalking skeleton and the ghosts walking up the walls and dancing upside down on the ceiling are something that only someone unique could invent. Michael jackson was the first person to add a bit of story into his videos as well as music and choreography, that started with the acting parts in "Thriller" as fans will know, he has always been hopeful to do film.
And no, Michael Jackson has once again, not let you down. The music in this is incredible, with "2-Bad" and "Is It Scary?" from Blood On The Dancefloor, a really underrated album. While it might not be as famous as Dangerous, HIStory, Off The Wall, Bad or Thriller, the music fits the choreography brilliantly. There are also some of my favourite moments other than the singing and dancing which I call "cute moments", Michael goofing around or Michael with the children. While The Maestro is an eccentric but not dangerous character who likes to give people a little shock, once again Michael shows his love for children with a family fun DVD and the girls will enjoy because it shows Michael in a white Victorian styled shirt rocking it better than Johnny Depp ever did, something for everyone.

Michael Jackson proves again that he can sing, dance and act like no other but also that he can ridicule those who try to poke fun at his genius and multiple talents. This is so much better than Thriller in so many ways. DVD release please if anyone is listening. Keep on doing it Michael. I am a fan, have been so for 40 years, but even non-fans would enjoy this.

5 out of 5 stars A masterpiece by the king of pop   February 24, 2005

Michael Jackson lives his life Off the Wall, he's Bad, and his movie Ghost is a Thriller and it will make HIStory.

The king of pop is great in this film. Some cool dance moves, great speciel effects and much much more. This is no doubt the best video MJ has made, it is a true masterpiece.

I hope it will soon be released on DVD.

Michael Jackson is the true one and only King Of Pop.

now, i respect a guy who can make fun of himself. I lrespect a guy who can act and sing. I respect a guy who can rip off his skin, and then moonwalk as a skeleton. 2 bad i'll never meet such a guy, as his passport got taken away. Anywho, enough on the personal attacks on the poor guy. Ok, onto the review. ghosts is a truly amazing piece of film. A shame its only on video for the moment. The dancing, acting and singing are all great. The children, they just crack you up! Its very thriller like I must say, but that's no problem. The ghosts walking up the wall while michael stands there rollling his head froom side to side.oh, and I always imagined him desintegrating one day... Anywho, buy this video!
